It was another great year for Graven Hill at Build It Live Bicester as we again took the Plot Shop over to Bicester Heritage to meet lots of new faces and show how much we’ve moved on since 2017.
Continuing site progress
So much has changed since last year when the site was just a field and while we now run regular site tours ourselves, we still had coach-loads of excited ticket-holders wanting to take a look for themselves. Graven Hill looked glorious in the sunshine, all the better to see landscaping starting to take shape and a number of almost finished self-build homes.

Meet the Kirkmans
With a number of questions regarding budgeting for a self-build, advice on turn-key homes and the Graven Hill process. the Kirkmans were on-hand to talk through their self-build journey and drew a keen crowd. They gave honest feedback about what they have learnt during their experience and how we have learnt and what we can pass on to future self-builders at Graven Hill.
Designing a dream home with Charlie Luxton
Once again Charlie Luxton hailed Graven Hill as an important project for the UK housing market as he announced the winners of our concept design competition along with our MD, Karen Curtin. Peter and Christine Clynes were the lucky recipients and we’re looking forward to adding some more real-life stories and site progress to the Graven Hill journey.
